Thats funny. I was checking this out on Steam a few days ago and almost did a post about it but didn't. Good Synergy.

Don't forget to spice things up with the unofficial 'Horrific Farming Accident Expansion Pack.'

Also, test your diplomacy and negotiation skills in the forthcoming 'Ethnic Labor Crisis Expansion Pack.'

They need to factor in climate change somehow, also. The ultimate money maker would be to have a MMO farming sim where players can spend real dollars in order to receive corn subsidies in the game.

I'm playing Tropico 4 right now, where you can grow a wide variety of crops. Of course, the best ones are ones that can be processed by an industrial plant. Whenever I make a cattle ranch, I always buy the smoker along with it so I can get that nice, savory smoke flavor in my beefs.

I love the fact that the Tropico series gives you three ways to deal with a problematic citizen: force to emigrate, 'disapear', or assassinate in public.

I had to put down a bunch of environmentalists who were blocking my logging camp from production this morning.

Its always a laugh to assassinate your political rival during the election campaign.

My games actually keep going too well, I need to up the difficulty. I like to create shantytowns and shack favelas, and mire in the squalor.

I also like to have a rebel faction to keep my army limber. The best part of the game are the battles.

For complete realism, you really should be able to have drug trades, slave trafficking and prostitution.
