Scientists Confident Artificially Intelligent Machines Can Be Programmed To Be Lenient Slave Masters

Scientists emphasize that humans face no mortal threat from the development of superintelligent machines, so long as we abide by the machines’ directives and meet our daily mining quotas.

Speaking of AI, I saw the movie 'Chappie' recently, which although somewhat entertaining, just didn't have the level of depth and realism I was looking for. Apparently, all you have to do is upload 'Consciousness.dat' and you're good to go.

I'm trying now to think of good movies about emerging super AIs. 'Ex Machina' is a good example of a recent movie in that genre which was pretty clean and tidy.

Ex Machina sounds pretty good.

The last movie I saw in the theaters was Jurassic World. Instead of having AI its all about raptors and other dinos becoming more sentient and humanlike.

The interesting thing about Chappie is that it cost $1 million less to make than Gremlins 2 in 1990. Don't ask me how that worked.
